A brief bio on Doug Carlton

•Doug Carlton is the president and founder of Truckin' Movers Corporation.
•Doug grew up in a Navy family and lived in twelve different places. in six different states by the time he was seventeen and started college.
•Doug graduated from Duke University, which is located in Durham, North Carolina in 1976 with high honors in political science and a second major in economics.
•Shortly after graduating, he started Truckin' Movers. Originally it was a political cause. Truckin' Movers became a leader in the successful movement to deregulate the moving and storage industry. Truckin' Movers won a landmark decision in federal court that help return free enterprise to this industry.
•Doug likes people, nature, physical activity and in recent years he has been studying the health crisis in America, and the solutions provided by leaders in the fields of lifestyle, integrative and functional medicine.
•His newest enterprise is called Harvest Oasis and offers prepared meals that are organic, non-gmo, and free of man-made chemical additives. One of the goals of Harvest Oasis is to support the growth of regenerative farming by increasing the demand for this food, and connecting local growers with local consumers.
•Doug runs a businesses with three bottom lines. Truckin Movers places equal value on people, profit and the environment.
